Most windshield replacements take about 45 to 60 minutes. After installation, we recommend waiting about an hour before driving so the urethane adhesive cures safely.

Q: Do you offer mobile service or do I come to your shop?

We offer both options. We have an in-house shop in Martinez, and we also provide convenient mobile service throughout the East Bay. We can perform repairs in our shop or right in your home driveway or workplace parking lot.

Q: Will my insurance cover my glass repair or replacement?

In most cases, comprehensive insurance covers auto glass repair and replacement. We coordinate directly with all major insurance companies and file the claim paperwork for you.

Q: What is ADAS calibration and why is it necessary?

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration is required when replacing a windshield on vehicles with forward safety cameras. Recalibrating ensures features like lane departure warning and automatic emergency braking function accurately.

Q: Can a rock chip be repaired instead of replacing the whole windshield?

Yes. If a rock chip is smaller than a quarter and not in the driver line of sight, we can usually repair it in about 30 minutes. Repairing early stops the chip from spreading into a large crack.
